This beautiful piece of kitchenware features a 7.3 inch blade, forged from 52100 high carbon steel. It stands just over 2.5 inches tall at the heel for optimal knuckle clearance at the cutting board. The main bevels are slightly convex, going from a fine edge to an over forged finish that aids in food release, as well as a full distal taper(gets narrower towards the tip). The ergonomic handle was sculpted from beautifully figured Tasmanian Blackwood and has a black micarta accent.
