Hand forged from the high sought after, and no longer in production, original W2 tool steel, this piece features a rustic forged finish on a blade just shy of 8 inches. It also features a hamon(soft spine, hard edge denotes by the wavey line visible on the blade- just like Japanese Sword Smiths heat treated katanas). The handle has my signature forged to finish integral bolster and beautifully carved bubinga.
