Arguably the most versatile tool in the kitchen is a good chef knife. Whether chopping up some veggies, trimming a pork shoulder, or thinly slicing fruit for cocktails this knife is gonna take care of you. The standard issue series is made with the same processes and attention to detail as a custom order, but with set materials and designs. This Chef features a hand-forged 52100 high carbon or AEB-L stainless steel blade that will be between 7.5 and 8 inches with an over forged finish to help keep food from sticking to it as much, and hand sanded flats that are easy to wipe clean. The handles are ergonomically sculpted Sonoran Desert Ironwood a micarta bolster. The spine of the blade is rounded over they has a full distal taper for comfort and balance. These come standard with a padded case, but a custom case by Guster Leather is also available.
