This is the prototype for my new Standard Issue line of knives. This particular piece has a roughly 7.75” 1085 Hitachi steel blade, and a natural canvas micarta handle. It features a forged to finish bolster and spine, and an heirloom fit up handle for an rustic yet sleek aesthetic, but was designed first and foremost to be an exceptionally high performing and ergonomic tool for those that demand a quality kitchen knife.
