This series of hand forged, Carbon Steel, 8” skillets is a combined effort of J Lees Knives and Olinger Forge and Tool. These are pre-seasoned and show beautiful and unique temper colors. This particular piece features a decorative rat tail handle that can be used to hang the pan on a hook to display in your kitchen.

Carbon steel skillets can be cared for and seasoned just like cast iron. For incredible non-stick performance heat up the skillet, apply a cooking spray or oil, and cook your food. When you're done simply wipe the pan out. If something sticks don't be afraid to use a light dish soap and a scotchbrite pad, and then just oil it a bit before you put it away. With use over time, the skillet will become a nice black color as the seasoning builds up on the pan.
